Estos son los nominados a los premios Spirit Awards 2012

Esta mañana en Estados Unidos, los actores Anthony Mackie (Real Steel) y Kate Beckinsale (Underworld: Awakening), presentaron a la prensa la lista de nominados para la entrega correspondiente a la ceremonia del 2012 de los Spirit Awards, a celebrarse el 25 de febrero de 2012. La suerte la llevan Take Shelter y The Artist, con 5 nominaciones cada una, luego le sigue Drive con 4, incluyendo una nominación a Mejor Actor para Ryan Gosling; The Descendants también le sigue con 4, y sin embargo, lo que cayo con mayor sorpresa, fue la nominación a Mejor Película para 50/50, la nueva cinta de Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Los Spirit Awards son presentados por Film Independent, una organización sin fines de lucro dedicada a las películas independientes como también a los directores. Se entregan cada año principalmente a las películas y actores del cine fuera del circuito oficial.

Esta es la lista con los candidatos en las diferentes categorías:

  • Mejor Película

-5o/50, Beginners, Drive, Take Shelter, The Artist, The Descendants.

  • Mejor Director

-Mike Mills (Beginners), Nicholas Winding Refn (Drive), Jeff Nichols (Take Shelter), Michael Hazanavicus (The Artist) y Alexander Payne (The Descendants).

  • Mejor Primera Película (Premio entregado a productor y director)

-Another Earth, In The Family, Margin Call, Martha Marcy May Marlene, Natural Selection.

  • Premio John Cassavetes (Premio entregado a una cinta hecha con menos de US$ 500.000)

-Bellflower, Circumstance, Hello Lonesome, Pariah, The Dynamiter.

  • Mejor Guión

-Joseph Cedar (Footnote), Michael Haznavicus (The Artist), Tom McCarthy (Win Win), Mike Mills (Beginners), Alexander Payne,              Nat Faxon y Jim Rash (The Descendants).

  • Mejor Primer Guión

-Mike Cahill y Brit Marling (Another Earth), J.C. Chandor (Margin Call), Patrick DeWitt (Terri), Phil Johnston (Cedar Rapids) y Will              Reiser (50/50).

  • Mejor Actriz
